QKS PTA
The Queen Katherine School, Parent Teacher Association (QKS PTA) is a group of parents and staff who support the school.
We organise social and fundraising events and help out at school occasions such as drama performances and Sports Day.
This years' committee is Claire Wickham, Linda Fone, Kerry Howarth and Geraldine Wade.
Joining the QKS PTA is a great way to get involved in the life of the school. We are committed to help provide the best education for our children.
We meet once every half term to plan activities and events. If you are able to give some of your time and join us, either as a regular member or occasional volunteer who can give a few hours now and again, you would be most welcome!

Projects funded by QKS PTA 2020/21
Fully funding the digital audio book project in the LRC – a fantastic addition to our Learning Resource Centre and a firm favourite with our students who can now access e-books and audio books. This proved particularly useful during Lockdown.Funding additional benches for the Year 8 bubble area.
Part funding ‘The Day’ a clear and balanced online daily newspaper available to students on Student VLE.
Your School Lottery
You can support our PTA by not even leaving your sofa by joining our school lottery! The lottery is run by a national organisation called Your School Lottery. It is really easy to register online, tickets cost £1 weekly. It runs every Saturday night and there is a local prize EVERY week and a chance to win the national prize of £25,000. If you would like to take part please go to http://www.yourschoollottery.co.uk and choose Queen Katherine School when prompted.
