Support Revision
Taking pre-public or terminal examinations can be a stressful time for your child.
It is important to know how best to support them during a period where it is normal to feel anxious.
Most often, it is the basic methods of support that have the greatest impact such as having a quiet space in which to study at home, eating well and getting enough sleep.
We hold Parent Information Evenings providing information about how to support GCSE revision – particularly in English, Maths and Science. Each subject department also creates their own as well and recommends appropriate revision resources and activities. Some revision resources can be purchased in our school shop where payment can be made via ParentMail.
If you are concerned about your child’s welfare during an examination period, please contact your child’s Form Tutor or Head of Year.
