SEND Support at QKS
At QKS, we believe in an inclusive education for all children.
We are fully committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum and including all children in every aspect of school life.
Our staff receive on-going training and development and we work closely with other professionals to make sure that staff have the most up to date knowledge in order to fully support the students in our care.
We work with students, their families, other professionals and QKS staff to make sure that the day-to-day provision for individuals is tailored to identified needs. This is closely monitored and adapted in line with changing student need.
Each child is an individual. We are firmly committed to working in collaboration with parents to understand the individual’s unique situation and plan provision with the child, parents and staff to maximise the child’s potential.
We have an experienced Learning Support Team, made up of the SENDCO, a learning support teacher and a number of teaching assistants.
