Open Evening: Wednesday 22 September 2021, from 5.30pm
We are really looking forward to finally being able to open our doors again and meet you at our forthcoming Open Evening in September. We are making some adjustments to our Open Evening arrangements this year in order to keep people safe but we are very much looking forward to meeting you in person and giving you the opportunity to find out more about all the amazing opportunities on offer here at QKS. Your family will be able to meet, see and do most of the activities that we have offered previously so look out for: Science experiments, computer coding with fruit, Performing Arts extravaganza and much, much more!
Key safety adjustments:
- Sanitising stations around the school site
- Headteacher's and students' talks will be videos (projected in the Upper School Hall) instead of in person - these will last for 15 minutes and run every half hour so we can avoid having too many people in the same space at the same time
- Student guides will show you around to avoid overcrowding in any area
We will not distribute paper copies of literature (including our prospectus) as we are committed to supporting our environment. All information can be found here, on our website, (which is updated regularly) or on our social media sites. We strongly recommend that you follow our Facebook page.

YEAR 5 transition experiences
Information Evenings, May 2022, 6 - 7.30pm
This is a fantastic opportunity to visit us and find out more. You will receive an invite through your child's primary school nearer the time.
The evening includes:
- BBQ refreshments
- Presentation from Mt Hayes and Ms Holliday
- Tour of the whole school
Year 5 QKS Experience Day, June 2022
We invite primary schools to visit us for a day to experience learning in the QKS environment. The day's activities are split into two. Children conduct a series of science experiments in a laboratory before completing Duke of Edinburgh survival and team-building activities. It is a fantastic opportunity to get to know key transition staff and enjoy learning in a secondary school environment.
