FIND OUT MORE 2021
Despite the challenging circumstances of current social distancing restrictions, we are committed to offering opportunities for Year 5s and their families to visit us and find out more about the QKS community.
Making the choice of which secondary school is right for your child is incredibly important, if you have any queries before submitting your application, please contact: laura.holliday@queenkatherine.org
Year 5 Information Evenings, July, 6.00-7.30pm
This is a fantastic opportunity to visit us and find out more. You will receive an invite through your child's primary school but the table below details specific dates.
There will be a pre-recorded information presentation available to watch before you arrive (this will help us to avoid the need for sitting inside as a crowd). BBQ refreshments will be available on the front lawn from 5.45pm so don't worry if you are just rushing from work. From 6.00pm, Mr Hayes (Headteacher) and Ms Holliday (Transition Lead) will give you an extended tour of our fantastic facilities. Some of our fabulous Year 7 students will also be on hand during the tour to chat to. The evening closes with a question and answer session with Mr Hayes and Ms Holliday.

Year 5 QKS Experience Day, late June/July (tbc)
We invite primary schools to visit us for a day to experience learning in the QKS environment. The day's activities are split into two. Children conduct a series of science experiments in a laboratory before completing Duke of Edinburgh survival and team-building activities. It is a fantastic opportunity to get to know key transition staff and enjoy learning in a secondary school environment.
